Library South Wall Monitoring


The Library south wall is constructed of 2x6 wood studs with 3 layers of 2 inch expanded polystyrene by Western Insulfoam placed on the outside of the structural members. The layers of rigid insulation have a combined R-Value of 27. The wall cavity is filled with R-13 fiberglass batts by Johns Manville creating a total wall assembly R value of nearly 40.
