The Sustainable Northern Communities Program
The Sustainable Northern Shelters (SNS) Program was developed by CCHRC to provide a platform for changing how housing is approached in Rural Alaska and other Arctic areas. The SNS Program has developed a number of partners across Alaska and has just completed (summer of 2009) its first prototype residential house in Anaktuvuk Pass, Alaska.
The SNS Program has started a number of Projects to further Program objectives, with key support from the Denali Commission and other funders. Please review the below projects for more details. |
