The heating and ventilation system performances are directly related. The current heating system includes a Toyo heating oil stove and a wood stove for back up. The Toyo stove model in the home has been prone to electronic control faults and is sensitive to the quality of electrical power.
The energy use monitoring system includes measurements of the incoming electrical energy, input from solar photovoltaic system, and the heating fuel system.
